OUR TEAM
King’s Hot Sauce is truly a labor of love — a way to keep Scott's father’s legacy alive and
share the unique flavour he created. It's not just about heat; it’s about family,
tradition, and community. Inspired by the joy it brings to people and friends often asking for a bottle to take home, the business was established and selling its first bottles in October 2023.

SCOTT KING
Scott is initially from Amherstburg, Ontario (just outside of Windsor), and has over 20 years of experience within the financial service industry; he sounds like a wild man, right? (Can people tell sarcasm through text?)
His passions lie in telling jokes, enjoying music, and testing the limits of his tastebuds with spicy cuisine. By day, he now leads a team of marketers; by night, he’s trying to get his kids to laugh, which they're willing to do, but only at his expense.
Scott is also proud to share his dad’s hot sauce with you during his "down" time and is grateful for your support.

VICKI TRUDEL
Vicki is the savvy francophone powerhouse and brains behind King’s Hot Sauce. Armed with a family-sized bottle of ambition, she keeps everything on track and organized... especially Scott.
When she’s not hustling in business, you can find her spending time with her friends and family, playing volleyball or working in the community at her day job. She also has a knack for bringing an idea to life and thinking of all the little things needed to make it come to fruition... hence why this is a business now, cause you know, she didn't have enough things to juggle in her life.
Even though she's never been one to add much spice to her food, she does like the sauce... the King's Hot Sauce that is.

VALLA KING
Valla is a kind-hearted and generous young lady, and if it were not for her curiosity and love for her "Grampy", this business would not exist. It was her idea to make a batch of sauce as she had heard it referenced so many times in the stories she loves to hear about her grandfather.
Today, she is growing up to be hilarious with her quick wit and all the faces she makes, and a giant pain in the ass, following in her dad's footsteps. Her artsy personality also gets her creating art in the hopes of scaring her friends and being the humoristic component of the King's Hot Sauce videos.
Will she take over the family business one day or will her older sister or younger stepbrother fight her for it? It may have to be decided in the King's court...

DAVID KING
David (AKA Bucka or Grampy, depending on which grandchild you're speaking to) was a man who loved his family, and was especially fond of his grandkids. He grew up on a farm and, as some stories would indicate, spent his time getting into some shenanigans.
Throughout the duration of his career, whether it be as a horticultural scientist or a millwright fixing machinery, David was always working at finding solutions, not being afraid to make mistakes along the way cause "that's how you learn" he would say. He took this same approach in the kitchen at home with his cooking "experiments", and that's how we got the recipe for King's Hot Sauce today.
Sadly, David passed away in October 2021, but he would be proud of the legacy he left behind, especially of this business we brought to life. And as you can see, he didn't actually have horns or a red face... unless Scott did something wrong.
